At SJF Kung Fu School, we provide authentic Taichi training in a traditional Chinese setting. Our school is led by Master Shen Jiangfei, who grew up in a martial arts family. He is a descendant of Liuhe Quan and the 11th-generation inheritor of Chen-style Taichi. He has dedicated decades to teaching these arts to students from around the world. What You Will Learn in Your Program

Stance training is your first lesson. You will learn the basic stances that support all Taichi movements. These stances strengthen your legs, improve your balance, and teach proper body alignment. You will practice holding each stance and feeling your weight distribution. Master Shen will guide you to find the correct position.

Footwork lessons come next. You will learn how to step correctly in Taichi. This includes stepping forward, backward, and sideways with control. You will learn to shift your weight smoothly and quietly. Good footwork is essential for balance and effective movement. You will practice footwork patterns until they become natural.
